Great durable lace but Color ? They seem to be a quality product so far. Very stiff and they would seem to have a break in period ? However I think maybe one of us is possibly color blind. I ordered the “Black” and these seem to be more of a mix color of black and olive green or gray. Incandescent light and fluorescent light make them look like different colors but they are certainly not ALL black no matter what the light type.Fortunately they do not have to match the black of my boots for a dress code of any kind. ie. possibly military ? so it’s not that big of deal to me but to others it might be.

Great laces Been wearing them for over a month and not had any issues.Update 05/31/2017After wearing the laces for several months the metal ends of the shoe laces are coming off. These are still great laces and I would recommend them!

Tend to loosen or come untied I bought these because I was tired of the laces snapping on my Timberland Chocorua boots. They become less stiff over time but haven’t broken or frayed yet. I do find that I need to re-tie them after a few hours because they will work themselves out of even a double knot.
