BoxLock is the first internet-connected padlock specifically designed to safeguard your home deliveries. Simple to Use To use BoxLock, your delivery driver simply grabs the BoxLock and presses the button on the top to scan the tracking number on your package. Only packages addressed to you and that are actually out for delivery that day will unlock the BoxLock. The driver opens the bin, places your package safely inside, closes the bin and locks the lock. Durability & Smart Design The lock casing is a tamper-resistant zinc and the shackle is made of a hardened steel like you would find in most common padlocks. The whole lock is encased in a fiber reinforced plastic, the same material that most tools are made of. With BoxLock we are also using a proprietary locking mechanism that is designed so that it is not as susceptible to the techniques used to open other padlocks.

Our packages are now safe — and it couldn’t be easier! My husband and I signed on to using Boxlock during a trial run. We have been concerned about package theft for a long time especially after our neighborhood has had more than a few issues. We have found Boxlock to be a convenient, easy solution to what was quickly becoming a major problem, given that we both work full-time and had no other convenient way to retrieve a delivered package. What we love about BoxLock is that our package is exactly where we want it to be (our doorstep) but is 10 times more secure than it was in the past. Because BoxLock is a newer product our package delivery person was initially unfamiliar but as they became used to the system, it was easy — ultimately our FedEx delivery person said that he wished everyone used Boxlock so that he could not be accused of not properly delivery his packages! Bottom line – we highly recommend this product and can’t wait until it really takes off so that everyone can see how simply and easy it is to protect their delivered…

Worth it Before BoxLock, I didn’t feel very safe getting packages delivered to my home. People in my area were getting packages stolen. If I ordered something, I had it delivered to a friend’s house or for pick up at the postal office, which was annoying and inconvenient. I often didn’t feel like making the extra drive after work to pick up my delivery and would end up waiting several days to go get it – defeating the purpose of having a Prime subscription.BoxLock has been such a great tool and it’s definitely made my day-to-day life easier. One of my favorite things is how low-maintence it is for a “tech gadget.” I have had mine for several months and have only had to charge it once or twice.I would prefer the app be a little more well-designed, but it gets the job done.

This product works great! If only the delivery drivers actually used it This product works great! If only the delivery drivers actually used it. I have a note with instructions on what to do. They just leave the package next to the bin. Hopefully this will catch on and they will use it
